Fredko Group began the celebration of its honourable half-century of business operations with work at the Konepaja Exhibition in Tampere.

Making its Finnish exhibition debut was the FlexPunch Compact punching centre from EHRT, our German manufacturer and a market leader in punching, bending and automation solutions for copper, aluminium and steel flat bar materials.
As its name suggests, the FlexPunch Compact is a compact package solution for flat bar processing. It is a fully automatic CNC punching machine equipped with four tool stations. By using EHRT’s 3-in-1 Multitool tools, the maximum number of tools available at one time is nine punching tools and one cutting tool. This enables the FlexPunch Compact to produce even more complex busbar components. Programming can be carried out with the PowerCut office software directly from 2D drawings.
For bending machines, EHRT has developed a unique and patented springback compensation method, achieving accuracies of up to +/- 0.2 degrees. EHRT machines are programmed through a graphical user interface, and modifications can also be made directly from the machine control. The required bar length for cutting and punching is generated directly from the bending program.
On display was the Hydraulic Press Complex fastener insertion press from Czech manufacturer SV Metal, offering an excellent price-performance ratio. The machine’s pressing force can be adjusted either manually or automatically, for example for steel or plastic materials, and the return height of the ram can be limited. A wide range of tools is available for the fastener insertion press, including a four-position tool holder turret.
Gimec is an Italian manufacturer of press brake tooling. Its product range includes tools with clamping systems for all major press brake manufacturers, including European-style tooling systems such as Amada, Uzma, Ermaksan, Durma and Baykal, as well as Trumpf/Wila, Beyeler/Bystronic, LVD and Haco.
At our stand, visitors could explore not only the tooling, but also Gimec’s highly durable protective film and its fastening solutions.
At the exhibition, an Akrapovic performance exhaust pipe cut to shape with BLM Group’s 5D laser was on display, installed on a Sherco TE300 Factory Edition.
The LT-FREE 5-axis fiber laser is an ideal solution for three-dimensional fiber laser cutting, such as trimming deep-drawn or hydroformed components, or cutting already bent tubes and tubular structures. In addition, LT-FREE fiber lasers can also cut standard sheet material.
Handling of the workpiece can be carried out fully manually, with a special rotary table, or by robot. Visit our stand A650 to discuss BLM Group’s leading tube processing solutions with the BLM Group Area Sales Manager.
At our stand, we displayed sample components from Salvagnini, the market leader in panel benders, as well as parts bent with a hybrid press brake.
As part of Salvagnini Group, Matrix punching tools are highly cost-competitive and feature tool bodies that can be maintained by the user. Punches and dies are compatible with all common Thick Turret brands, with long service life as a key advantage. A modern factory and a fully digitalised ordering process ensure fast deliveries. Sample tools were on display at our stand A650.
Manual presses from German manufacturer Mäder are excellently suited for assembly, pressing, punching and bending operations, as well as many other applications. The range includes a wide selection of lever-operated and pneumatic models, with a few lever-operated models on display at our stand.
We celebrated the start of our 50th anniversary year at stand A650, where visitors could also learn more about our other offerings and enjoy sparkling refreshments offered by our two manufacturers, French Dimeco and Italian Salvagnini.
