Following the product launches presented at last year’s EuroBLECH exhibition, our manufacturers have organised several Open House events at their showrooms, introducing a range of additional innovations.

At its Tech Forward event, BLM Group launched the new E-Turn63 tube bender and the ArGo CAM programming software for 5D laser systems such as the LT Free and LT Weld machine models.
ArGo programming software for 5D laser systems

BLM Group’s LT Free 5D laser system can cut pre-bent tubes and profiles as well as perform trimming operations on components such as deep-drawn parts. The automatic LT Weld fiber laser welding cell is also suitable for sheet metal components. One of the key features of the new ArGo software is its ease of use. This is made possible by a user interface designed to support the operation of a cell consisting of a cutting machine and a robot. The ArGo office software calculates collision-free motion paths and automatically generates support models for the part. When processing curved tubes, handling is improved through automatic recognition of the parts and the bending axis, making it easier to define the gripping position interactively along the curved axis.
Fully servo-driven E-Turn63 tube bender

The largest model in the E-Turn tube-bending machine range was also unveiled at Tech Forward. It is designed for tubes with a maximum diameter of 63 mm. Its unique B-Right measuring and correction feature, together with the new VGPNext programming system, makes it possible to produce dimensionally accurate bent tube components directly from a 3D model in a single production run.

Our leading supplier of coil-processing solutions, the French company Dimeco, relaunched its LinaCut fiber laser cutting system for cutting directly from thin sheet metal coil at its Open House event. The company also presented several redesigned press feed line solutions and RotoBloc equipment for handling press tools and coils.
Dimeco press feed lines

Dimeco press feed lines have been certified by several automotive manufacturers, ensuring excellent straightening quality and high machine availability, among other benefits.
Rotobloc equipment for handling press tools and coils

Rotobloc offers a variety of solutions and systems for changing and storing press tools. A versatile selection of equipment is also available for coil handling.
LinaCut fiber laser cutting cell for coil material

Dimeco will continue to offer its unique LinaCut fiber laser cutting cell for coil material with strip widths of up to 1,000 mm.

At the Xperience event held at Salvagnini’s main factory showroom in Italy, the focus was on artificial intelligence solutions. These included the P-Robot’s RVS machine vision system as part of the Flexible Smart Job Shop, or FSJ, cell, as well as the Flow software suite used as part of the Flexible Smart Line, or FSL, system.
Flexible Smart Job Shop (FSJ) -cell

Within the cell, the intelligent MCU unloading and stacking device of the new L3.G4 fiber laser transfers the cut blank to the required position. The P-Robot, equipped with RVS machine vision, positions the components using 3D scanning, identifies their geometry and thickness, and then processes them according to the order queue. The robot can load the blank into either the P2Lean automatic panel bender or the B3 hybrid press brake. Alternatively, it can place the blank in a stack for the next production stage.
Flow control for the Flexible Smart Line (FSL) system

Salvagnini’s Flow software suite controls the Flexible Smart Line system. Depending on production requirements, it can be used to maximise component throughput across the entire line, optimise the balance between punching, cutting and bending cycle times through dynamic buffering, or enable the intelligent and flexible production of component kits.
